Projects

One project, start to finish

A custom outdoor shower in the Waterford area, documented by K & F on Facebook from the first demolished pipe to the first shower with the water running. Repairs are the daily work; this is what a full build looks like.

  1. Exposed overhead copper piping in the old structure before the outdoor shower rebuild

    Where it started

Old piping, exposed and weathered: demolished back to sound structure.

  2. New copper water piping with shut-off valves being installed under a covered porch

    Fresh copper rough-in

New supply lines with proper shut-offs, run neatly before the walls went in.

  3. Custom white board-and-batten outdoor shower enclosure with a lit transom window

    The new enclosure

Board-and-batten build with a lit transom window, made to fit the space.

  4. Outdoor shower interior with beadboard walls, slatted floor, mirror and towel hooks

    Inside the enclosure

Beadboard walls, a slatted floor, mirror, and towel hooks: everything in its place.

  5. Finished shower with glass tile accent strip, rainfall head and handheld wand

    Fixtures and tile

A glass tile accent, rainfall head, and handheld wand on a thermostatic valve.

  6. Top-down view of the finished walk-in shower with grab bars and slatted floor

    Comfortable and safe

Grab bars inside and a slatted floor that drains between the boards.

  7. The finished outdoor shower running against an ivy-covered wall

    Working water

The first shower with the water running: ready for the season.
